Sunday was Rukmini's Birthday! No, she didn't turn 40 (like Kevin and Radha kept joking)...it was her 36th birthday! Daddy really wanted to do something special for it, but Rukmini wasn't too keen on making a big deal about it. So we had a "surprise" gathering at the house. The surprise was that Bobby, Kevin, and Chris came over and we had a cake and presents too. My mom was also surprised because none of us told her the actual surprise! I guess we all kind of figured someone else had. OOPS. Sorry Mommy.
But we had a nice meal, GREAT desserts (Maya and Ammamma made cupcakes and Chris made a pecan pie), and a fun time.
