Operation Thesis!

Okay, it has officially entered CRUNCH time. When you're not working a typical 9-5 (or 7-6 in my case) time really flies by. I've enjoyed not using my alarm clock and spending 2+ hours driving, but I really need to up my discipline.

I need to finish my research and writing by March..that doesn't leave me that much time, plus I also have to finish a full load of correspondence/online enhancement courses I signed up for too (but at least that deadline is a little more open)! So far I'm half way done with an introduction to online curriculum development course (which sparked this post by the way) but I'm only a few pages into the first chapter of my thesis.

I think I would have been able to focus a lot more on it, but deciding to make moving a priority kind of shifted my attention away from research. But I can say that I'll be much happier next school year when my commute is reduced to minutes :-) The house is looking good too, we've seen it from the foundation stage to what it looks like now..almost done! Today they put in the countertops in the kitchen and next week comes the floors. And maybe the week after that, closing? I hope so because then I can get back to what's just as important...finishing my thesis!
