Yesterday we spent most of the day driving to the Arenal region...we went up and down through curves and a few people got motion sickness :-( but non of our kids did. Our first stop was at Inbioparque. That's where we saw some of CR's plants and animals. We saw white tail deer that weren't scared of us at all..a sloth and tons of butterflies. One in particular took a strong affection to Jared ;-) I'll post the picture when we get home.
We had a typical Costa Rican meal for lunch..Katia, Nurul, and I enjoyed it, but the boys weren't as impressed. We stopped at "marts" for snacks along the way and I think we all enjoy going to them....but Justin, Victor, and Jared are very anti-local snack foods for some reason, only buying lays and sun chips. The rest of us were more adventurous ... Colin really liked the plantain Chips with sal and limon.
